Excellent opportunity for an experienced Technology Business Development, Solution Architect or Pre-sales professional to join a leading global provider of IoT SaaS digital enablement technology solutions. Our client enjoys a significant global strategic partnership with a major tier 1 Mobile Operator, deploying and managing their robust IoT  application Platform. The IoT Technical Business Development Managers will work in an overlay role to support taking the platform to market across multiple industry sectors, including Utilities, Manufacturing. Healthcare, Automotive. Smart Cities, Agriculture, Industrial IoT, large enterprise and SME’s - an ever growing list of business case opportunities.

Requirements

 

 

To succeed in this IoT Technical Business Development role you will have:


  • A passion for IoT technologies
  • Detail-oriented solution finder with good presentation/customer-facing skills 
  • Successful technology sales expertise in IoT, Enterprise mobility, mobile digital services, and adjacent spaces with a good working knowledge and understanding of the evolving ecosystem and their solution requirements 
  • Proven track record of building successful Sales / Business Development relationships with mobile ecosystem players or with large Enterprises for mobility or IoT solutions 
  • Strong experience with direct touch drive solution selling but also familiarity with the channel sales model and working in a team selling environment. 

Responsibilities will include supporting the Service Provider partner’s sales organisation and the IoT ecosystem with the build and execution of targeted sales campaigns within named enterprise customers and targeted verticals. Will be responsible for evangelising the software platform and applications internally to the Operator partner and to their customer base, working in an overlay technical sales capacity for joint IoT opportunities.



The Job
